Individual Services

Individual therapy consists of one-on-one sessions between you and your therapist, and it can be a valid treatment for a variety of issues, from depression to anxiety, stress,
chronic illness, grief, self-esteem, coping skills, trauma, life transitions, and more. It can
also be helpful when you just want to know yourself better, you feel like you are doing
okay but somehow something is missing or you could use some extra support in
reaching your goals.

If you are not sure whether therapy can help you, here are some symptoms that may indicate that therapy could be helpful:

• Feeling depressed nearly every day• Feeling angry• Feeling anxious and persistently worried • A drop in work or academic performance• Frequent nightmares or difficulty sleeping• Changes in eating habits or dramatic weight gain or loss• Increase in physical complaints despite healthy physicals results• Isolating or withdrawing from family, friends, and activities you previously enjoyed• Alcohol or drug use• Self-harming behaviors such as cutting• Performing obsessive tasks like hand washing or checking the door • Restlessness and difficulty staying on task.

Remember that you are not alone and we are here to help.
