I am an artist inspired by nature and wildlife, and enjoy painting animals. I like to look for beauty and something positive in everything, and enjoy walking, hiking, and quiet observations of nature. I was raised in Los Angeles in a bicultural home with an European father and a South American mother. I am married and have two children, a son and a daughter.
I graduated from Phillips Graduate Institute in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Art Therapy. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Art Therapist, an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, a Certified Educator of Infant Massage, and a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). I have ten years of experience working in a child abuse prevention program, focusing on family advocacy, maternal mental health, and the Zero to Five population.
I enjoy working with families with young children, and follow a strength-based approach focusing on empowerment and strengthening attachment. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy to help clients make progress toward achieving their goals.
